Tasks

What you'll do:

  • Support the General Manager and the team with all issues
  • Participate in all relevant meetings
  • Participate in local sales events
  • Enter into transportation agreements with customers
  • Process customer requests and perform bookings as per booking process and the Cargo Booking Manual
  • Book standard/special products (incl. OAL segments), check load ability & profitability
  • Prepare quotations for ad hoc pricing, considering profitability, customer willingness & upselling
  • Advise customers, proactively sell transport solutions, collaborate with Handling/Sales teams
  • Manage accounts, easySales & LTC bookings; share allocation info with Sales
  • Arrange ex-work pick-ups
  • Assist in acquiring new accounts by following up inbound calls
  • Support Sales Team’s revenue & tonnage targets
  • Join Outside Sales on visits
  • Share market activity info with Sales/Manager
  • Process charter requests with Network-on-Demand
  • Manage account data in CRM, communicate updates
  • Promote eChannel usage, follow up Spot Quotes
  • Handle claims/complaints, forward requests, promote eClaims usage

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Commercial driven attitude
  • Collaborative and supportive team member
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s or Higher Education Diploma 
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and German skills are a plus
  • Professional and business-oriented approach
  • Passion for the aviation industry is an advantage
