Tasks
- Acquiring practical skills with a focus on conducting and evaluating data analyses along production and freight flows to identify opportunities for improvement
- Preparing key performance indicators, reports, and management analyses to support operational decisions
- Preparing, facilitating, and following up on performance meetings with various stakeholders
- Collaborating on the analysis, management, and resolution of operational challenges, as well as actively supporting the identification of solutions and the implementation of corrective actions
- Supporting cross-functional process optimization initiatives
- Contributing to the implementation and further development of safety measures
- Participating in work meetings and workshops
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written confirmation of the mandatory internship must be included with the application) or an internship between the bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
- Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, logistics, production engineering, data analytics, or a comparable field of study
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in working with data
- Use of existing skills in Microsoft Office (Excel) under professional guidance
- Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or comparable analytics tools is a plus
- A structured and independent work style, as well as a high degree of initiative
- Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor, especially when facilitating meetings
- Ability to work well in a team and an interest in operational production and logistics processes
- Very good German language skills
