Tasks

Our department is responsible for comprehensive operational material planning, procurement, and systematic material tracking, thereby ensuring the availability of materials for Lufthansa Airlines' operations.

  • Learning practical skills with a focus on technical procurement of aircraft materials and support in pool management
  • Preparation and analysis of demand forecasts
  • Collaboration on and preparation of presentations and evaluations
  • Identifying opportunities for cost optimization
  • Mapping, documenting, and refining processes
  • Taking part in creation, analysis, and optimization of KPIs
  • Repair administration and oversight of pool return management

Requirements

  • At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program
  • Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written certificate of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or an internship between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • High degree of initiative, quick learner, strong communication skills
  • Strong interest in aviation
