Join our Contracted MRO (cMRO) team and help shape our future material supply chains at Lufthansa Technik. As part of one of our key growth areas, you will gain insights into supply chain management, data-driven decision making and supplier collaboration while contributing to the continuous development of our global repair network.
Tasks
You'll support the Contracted MRO team in driving transparency, performance and continuous improvement across our external repair network. Working closely with experts, you will contribute to projects that help ensure material availability and support the growth of our engine maintenance business.
- Gain practical experience with focus on supporting projects aimed at improving and digitalizing supply chain and repair management
- Analyze data and prepare decision-making materials for internal stakeholders
- Contribute to forecasts, performance analyses, and management reporting
- Support the identification of supply chain risks and improvement opportunities
- Research supplier, market, and industry information, participate in market analysis
- Prepare presentations, reports, and project documentation, gain practical experience in communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute ideas to transformation initiatives
- Take ownership of work packages and support ongoing strategic projects, gain practical experience in project management
- Participate in meaningful operations, workshops

Requirements
To complete an internship in our company, you must be at least in your third semester at the time of the internship.
- Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics or a comparable field
- Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Interest in supply chain management, process improvement and project work
- Curiosity for data-driven decision making and digital solutions
- Business fluent in German and English
