Tasks

You will support Lufthansa Group Corporate Security Risk Management in assessing and monitoring the global security situation and its impact on flight operations and business units, as well as:

  • Participation in the creation and development of geopolitical risk analyses
  • Acquiring practical skills with a focus on managing and implementing current projects, as well as the continuous development of internal processes, training programs, and tools
  • Contributing to the continuous optimization and improvement of internal processes
  • Supporting internal stakeholder and quality management for Lufthansa Group airlines and business units
  • Collaborating on continuous risk assessment, as well as the associated communication and documentation
  • Participating in active situation management during acute and potential crisis situations
  • Creating presentations and project-related documents for the visual presentation of information, including newsletters, templates, and dashboards

Requirements

  • At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program
  • You must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written certificate of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
  • Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
  • Interest in security risk management and aviation
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
