Tasks
You will support Lufthansa Group Corporate Security Risk Management in assessing and monitoring the global security situation and its impact on flight operations and business units, as well as:
- Participation in the creation and development of geopolitical risk analyses
- Acquiring practical skills with a focus on managing and implementing current projects, as well as the continuous development of internal processes, training programs, and tools
- Contributing to the continuous optimization and improvement of internal processes
- Supporting internal stakeholder and quality management for Lufthansa Group airlines and business units
- Collaborating on continuous risk assessment, as well as the associated communication and documentation
- Participating in active situation management during acute and potential crisis situations
- Creating presentations and project-related documents for the visual presentation of information, including newsletters, templates, and dashboards
Behind the scenes
Requirements
- At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program
- You must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written certificate of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
- Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Interest in security risk management and aviation
- Good communication and collaboration skills
