Tasks

In your role, as Accountant you will be responsible for: 

  • Posting of incoming invoices within Lufthansa Group companies
  • Settlement of receivables and payables between Group companies
  • Intercompany clearing between Lufthansa Group companies
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet and P&L items between Lufthansa Group companies
  • Active communication with Group companies and business units in order to ensure a smooth process of reconciliation
  • Monthly/Yearly accruals – posting & dissolving
  • Cooperation with Consolidation Departments
  • Open items reconciliation
  • Ensuring compliance to internal and external audit requirements
  • Keeping documentation for realizing processes updated
  • Monthly & yearly closing
  • ICS/KPI checks

*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

  • Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies in economic disciplines
  • We highly appreciate min 1 year of experience in RTR team
  • You feel quite confident in speaking English
  • German language would be an asset
  • You feel confident in practice of MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
  • If you already have the SAP knowledge your introduction will be even more efficient
  • Flexibility and adaptability are among your strengths
  • You feel good when you cooperate in a team, but when needed, you can also conduct your individual tasks independently
  • You understand that it is crucial to work systematically and respond to client and suppliers quickly and efficiently
  • Thanks to your highly developed analytical and conceptual mindset, you can easily work with high volume data
