Tasks
The Logistics Production Engineer improves and standardizes logistics processes, implements optimizations, maintains documentation, and coordinates with stakeholders. The role enhances transparency and tracks performance through KPIs, reports, and data analysis.
Responsabilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:
- Define and further develop stable, standardized operational logistics processes
- Identify, design, and implement process optimizations in line with labour law, occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality requirements
- Coordinate and communicate process optimization and changes with colleagues and relevant Lufthansa Technik or Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services departments as well as external interfaces
- Initiate and manage the procurement and deployment of logistics materials and equipment, considering both technical and economic aspects
- Develop, maintain, and update procedures and work instructions
- Create and analyse reports, KPIs, and statistics
- Contribute to or lead logistics projects

Requirements
We’re seeking a proactive Logistics Production Engineer to optimize and standardize logistics operations, identify improvement opportunities, support process implementation, maintain accurate documentation, work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor or Master degree in (industrial) engineering, economics, or related field is required
- Experience in intralogistics (goods receiving, warehousing, shipping) is an advantage; aviation logistics experience is a plus
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Proficient in MS Office 365 and Visio, SAP experience is desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to structure,organize,prioritize,and manage complex processes
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong decision-making ability, high sense of responsibility, and proactive mindset
