Tasks
- Accountable for full-cycle accounting for the LGBS entity in Kraków, incl. preparation of financial statements in compliance with local statutory requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to Local Authorities and LH Group
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting obligations towards authorities
- Maintain full alignment with local and international regulations and internal Group policies
- Interact with Bank, Tax Advisors, Audits and Regulatory Authorities
- Design and maintain accounting processes and internal controls
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of actual costs and financial results in cooperation with the controlling team
- Lead the accounting team, ensuring high performance, quality, and accountability
- Set objectives, monitors performance, and supports continuous professional development
- Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive team engagement, collaboration, and adoption of process improvements

Requirements
- Academic degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Very good knowledge of Polish Accounting Act and tax regulations
- More than 7 years of professional experience
- Experience in statutory reporting and cooperation with external auditors and public authorities
- Min. 2 years of experience in people management
- Experience in the SSC environment
- Strong analytical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluent English (min C1); German will be an asset
- Knowledge of ERP systems e.g. SAP
- Excellent computer literacy, especially in MS Office and visualization tools
- Excellent communication skills, negotiation and conflict resolution
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels
