Tasks

What you'll do:

  • Lead airport station operations, ensuring safety, security, service quality, regulatory compliance, and on-time performance
  • Drive customer-centric service delivery, premium passenger handling, complaint resolution, and operational excellence
  • Monitor and improve operational processes, manage irregular operations, contingency planning, special flights, and stakeholder communication
  • Oversee service providers, ensure SLA compliance, conduct quality reviews, and achieve operational KPIs and safety targets
  • Manage station budgets, cost controls, revenue opportunities, contract administration, and invoice approvals
  • Ensure compliance with safety management systems, ground operations manuals, emergency response plans, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, develop, and motivate teams through workforce planning, training, performance management, and talent development
  • Coordinate with airlines, airport authorities, government agencies, and business partners to support operational and commercial objectives

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in airline, airport, or ground operations, including demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Must possess legal work permit in Malaysia
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic operational environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage operational irregularities effectively
