Tasks
Our sustainability program in the ENG Services segment is shaping the future of aviation. With innovative environmental, social and corporate governance measures, we are setting standards in sustainable development - for engines that are not only powerful, but also responsible.
Your Focus:
- Analyze how the design of Aircraft Engines has evolved in the past to become more fuel efficient
- Describe the different aspects of sustainability (Fuel burn, Critical Material usage, Noise emission, Water consumption, etc.)
- Analyze the repairability of the new engine designs. Does the enhanced performance come at the expense of repair ability?
- Evaluate the sustainability of new engine types compared with legacy engines as a whole picture – special waste instead of repair and recycling?
Your Goal:
Critically question whether improving engine performance comes at the expense of repairability (circular economy) and if it is sustainable in the long term and from a holistic view.

Requirements
In order to complete an internship in our company, you must be in at least your third semester of study at the time of the internship.
- Immatriculation for the entire duration of the Master's thesis
- Aerospace engineering degree or comparable course of study Strong teamwork and communication skills
- High level of commitment, initiative, reliability and flexibility
- Good handling of MS Office
