The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in executing procurement processes and supporting operational excellence across the team. This position combines transactional procurement tasks with broader responsibilities in communication, process improvement, and team collaboration.
Tasks
- Independently carry out tasks in purchase requisition validation, shopping cart creation, purchase order processing, order adjustments, and goods receipt booking
- Resolve routine supplier issues and respond to internal/external inquiries via email or phone in a timely and professional manner
- Handle escalations by conducting error analyses and proposing solutions
- Trigger vendor creation and updates; maintain accurate procurement records and update internal documentation
- Actively apply internal procedures, propose improvements, and serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned processes; participate in additional projects as required
- Support Team Leader and senior colleagues with operational tasks; assist in onboarding new hires and provide guidance to less experienced team members
- Adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies; maintain a high level of service and contribute to a positive image of LGBS toward internal and external customers
*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
- Command of English (written and spoken) – min. B2
- Command of German (written and spoken) – min. B2
- Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies in any disciplines
- At least 1 year of professional experience in Procurement area (for Procurement Specialist role)
- Good command of MS office and Windows applications
- Good command of Procurement related tools
- Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work
