Tasks

For this internship your responsibilities would be:

  • Gather, analyze, and integrate customer insights and competitive intelligence to strengthen Lufthansa Technik’s market position in the Americas
  • Harness data and product innovation impulses to guide informed decision-making, ensuring our product and solution offerings align with evolving customer needs and industry trends
  • Prioritize product development ideas and ensure implementation with all relevant stakeholders (e.g. process centers and production)
  • Drive digitalization in the existing landscape or develop new value-producing opportunities
  • Identify new business opportunities and assist in evaluating partnerships and supplier strategies

Requirements

The ideal Strategy and Business Development intern should fulfill the following:

  • Current enrollment in a university undergraduate or graduate program with an emphasis on Business, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Data Analytics, or Finance
  • Strong interest in strategy, product development and data analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, including excel and PowerBI
  • Strategic thinking, high level of self-management and drive to learn quickly
  • Fluent level of English; Spanish and/or German desirable
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the country of employment
