Tasks

The Air Cargo Terminal Supervisor role involve the following tasks, among others:

  • Support the implementation of local/regional measures meant for the support of the worldwide handling strategy
  • Monitors the operational performance for all aspects of the LCAG product
  • Continuously develops process improvements within export and import cargo services, in close cooperation with the key interfaces
  • Reports and coordinates of all handling issues with key interfaces
  • Implements continuous process improvements within area of responsibility
  • Ensures export and import handling teams process all customer, airline, and internal inquiries in accordance with LCAG standards, local procedures, and contractual handling requirements
  • Ensures the highest possible standards of health & safety, efficiency and cleanliness 

 

* Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

Are you ready to Take-off with us? Know more about the requirements below:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 3-6 years’ export and import warehouse/documentation operations experience
  • Fluent English language required, with strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills 
  • German language desirable
  • Knowledge of warehouse and logistics management
  • Qualification according to CHM / GOM
  • Proficient in MS Office  
  • Excellent problem solving
  • Excellent quality consciousness
  • Excellent productivity driven 
  • Excellent safety and security
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S. 
  • Must be willing to work shifts
