Tasks

The Senior Accountant involves the following activities, among others:

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts & financial plans
  • Monitor performance against budgets &  identify variances
  • Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders
  • Track key financial metrics (revenue, expenses, margins, cash flow)
  • Maintain financial databases, ensuring accuracy & data integrity
  • Support department audits (documentation/explanations)
  • Collaborate with departments to evaluate financial impact of initiatives
  • Ensure financial practices adhere to internal policies and regulations
  • Ensure timely processing of payments in line with company policy and terms
  • Review &  approve employee advance requests and reimbursement claims
  • Ensure expenses comply with internal travel & expenses
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, HR & employees

Requirements

Are you ready to Take-off with us? Know more about the requirements below:

  • Bachelor in Accounting, Administration, International Business or similar
  • At least 1 year experience within invoice control, accounting processes and analysis
  • At least 2 years’ experience as Accountant or equivalent
  • Experience in Accounting and monthly & tax declaration calculations
  • Experience within invoice control
  • Fluent English language required, with strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Excellent awareness about money, analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge within SAP software
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with special focus in Excel (plus: knowledge in macros creation) 
  • Must posses a work permit in Mexico
