Tasks

Your tasks at a glance:

  • Establishment, implementation and continuous development of the compliance monitoring system in accordance with the EU Part ORA
  • Establishment and maintenance of a risk-based audit and monitoring program
  • Planning and implementation of internal audits and inspections in all relevant organizational areas
  • Assessment of compliance with :
    • EU rules (in particular Part-ORA, Part-FCL),
    • National aviation regulations,
    • Approved manuals and internal procedures 
  • Transparent reporting to the Accountable Manager of compliance status, identified variances, and risks
  • Tracking of findings and monitoring and documentation of the effectiveness of corrective measures
  • Close cooperation with safety management, training management and specialist departments
  • Monitoring of regulatory changes and derivation of necessary organizational adjustments
  • Support for training and awareness-raising of employees on compliance issues

Requirements

Professional qualifications:

  • Several years of relevant professional experience (usually at least 3-5 years) in the field of:
    • Compliance monitoring,
    • Quality management or
    • Safety management
      within an air certified organization (e.g. ATO, CAMO, Part‑145, Airline) 
  • Very good knowledge of the relevant regulations, in particular Part-ORA and Part-FCL
  • Experience in planning and conducting internal audits
  • Experience in creating, maintaining and implementing organization manuals (e.g. OMM, OM, ATO manuals).
  • Ideally, experience in dealing with regulatory audits and regulatory agencies

  • Strong analytical and structured working methods
  • High integrity, objectivity and responsibility
  • Very good communication skills, also at management level
  • Command Skills with Cooperative Appearance
  • Very good spoken and written knowledge of German and English
