Take ownership of invoice verification and cost transparency while collaborating with global logistics partners and help shape efficient, data-driven processes in an international environment. 

Tasks

  • Support the verification, recording, and control of incoming invoices and credit notes (e.g., couriers, airlines, freight forwarders)
  • Identify billing errors and initiate corrective actions to ensure effective cost management
  • Perform deviation analyses (price, quantity, service) and coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Operations, and Goods Receipt
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice issues and payment status
  • Contribute to the optimization and documentation of purchase-to-pay processes, as well as cost analysis and benchmarking
  • Maintain structured documentation and collaborate closely with Finance, Network, and Product Management to ensure smooth workflows

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • First experience in finance, logistics, procurement, or operations beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills and high affinity for numbers
  • Structured, reliable, and detail‑oriented working style
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Interest in process optimization and cost analysis
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in parallel 
  • Very good verbal & written communication skills in English; German is an advantage
  • Applicants with severe disabilities will be given preference if they are equally qualified
