Tasks

As an air freight expert (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the following tasks,
among others: 

  • Documentary processing of air freight shipments in both import and export
    sectors
  • Logistics and documentary handling of special cargo, including hazardous
    goods and airmail
  • Responsibility for analyzing and preparing operational data on a routine
    basis
  • Primary point of contact for our customers
  • Managing department-specific billing tasks
  • Utilizing various internal IT systems and office applications

Requirements

What you should bring to the role: 

  • Completed vocational training (preferably in freight forwarding and logistics) and
    ideally practical experience in logistics/air freight
  • Knowledge of customs, aviation security and dangerous goods as well as
    experience in the documentary handling of air freight shipments or airline handling
    are an advantage
  • Customer and solution-oriented way of working and a high level of service
    orientation
  • Commitment, initiative, ability to work in a team, resilience and stress resistance
  • Good communication skills and enjoy working with people
  • Willingness to work shifts (early/late/night)
  • Very good knowledge of German and advanced English
