Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Identify sources for the purchase of USM material
  • Evaluation of USM packages and price negotiations with buyers/sellers
  • Coordination and monitoring of incoming and outgoing USM packages with all internal stakeholders (purchasing, accounting, credit risk management
  • Enlarge network in the used material industry as well as used aircraft market. Participation on MRO conferences and fairs in order to access available assets
  • Support reciprocal business by support of the product division’s selling, loaning and exchanging activities regarding their USM inventories and MRO services
  • Evaluation of full assets and material packages for internal MRO demand and external sales/loan/exchange market
  • Create business cases, presentations and decision papers

Requirements

The ideal Manager USM & Used Aircraft must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 5 years in project management and / or parts trading required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German and other language desirable
  • MS Office skills as expert
  • Knowledge in SAP and t/surplus
  • Excellent detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent project management
  • Excellent quality consciousness
