Tasks

    • Develop, assess, and continuously improve the most economical aircraft maintenance concept for the Brussels Airlines fleet, 
    • Establish an holistic strategic approach to manage long-term maintenance schedules 
    • Lead long-term maintenance planning for non-routine and extended ground-time activities, 
    • Identify and leverage extended aircraft ground-time opportunities to efficiently bundle maintenance tasks and maximize operational efficiency.
    • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Operations, Network Planning, iOCC, Engineering, and Supply Chain)
    • Proactively identify planning risks, constraints.  
    • Continuously monitor planning changes, seasonal network variations & operational developments 
    • Ensure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent through experience 
  • At least 5–10 years of experience in aeronautical engineering and/or aircraft maintenance operations with solid expertise in aviation maintenance planning including mid-term and long-term planning 
  • Excellent knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations and strong familiarity with the organizations CAME and Part M requirements
  • Proven ability to build and maintain maintenance forecasts and work packages 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MRO software (AMOS)
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written); Dutch and / or French is a plus
