Tasks

As the Duty Manager, you will perform the following duties:

  • Establishing relationships with premium customers and facilitating the recognition of top customers
  • Acting as customer care ambassador if assigned by Station Manager
  • Conducting daily flight briefings with personnel where feasible
  • Contributing proactively to the development and modification of procedures, respecting defined carrier's rules and regulations
  • Intervening in case of shortcomings and ensuring that service basics are adhered to by all providers
  • Applying and maintaining the Safety Management System (SMS) in his area of competence and responsibility and that it is performing according to the requirements
  • Making sure that the technical and logistical aspects of training activities are performed

 

* Takeover of additional tasks when is required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements: 

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree / vocational training desirable
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience - thereof a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated work experience in ground operations required
  • Leadership experience
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German and other language desirable
  • Knowledge of airport procedures and processes
  • PC and Campus supported software including all MS Office programs as user
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Must be flexible for traveling, position requires to be on duty trips across Canada not limited to Toronto
