Working in our Service Procedures & Hospitality team offers comprehensive insights into the practical design of onboard processes, dynamic project management, and the operational procedures of flight operations.

Tasks

The Service Procedures & Hospitality division is responsible for the line- and project-based development and implementation of product and service concepts, as well as crew-related ground processes and their target-group-specific communication to the operational units.

  • Contribute to the development and definition of in-flight service concepts and crew-related processes on the ground, liaising with product management, flight operations and stations worldwide
  • Initiate measures and projects to improve in-flight processes and cabin equipment based on crew and customer feedback
  • Defining and documenting (e.g. Cabin Service Manual) in-flight service processes and workflows for the respective cabin roles on board and on the ground
  • Data analysis and best practices to identify measures
  • Responding to and evaluating topic-specific cabin reports
  • Preparing, organising and assisting with the implementation of test scenarios for the further development of in-flight processes

Requirements

To ensure that the internship is a success for both you and our team, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Enrolment for the entire duration of the placement (a current certificate of enrolment and, in the case of a compulsory internship, written confirmation of the compulsory internship must be included in the application)
  • At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your 3. semester of study
  • The ability to think conceptually and systematically when dealing with complex issues
  • High level of commitment, flexibility and resilience
  • Determination, as well as initiative and working independently
  • Safely using IT tools
  • A distinctive sense of hospitality and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work well with others and as part of a team
  • Communication skills, the ability to present arguments and give presentations; project management experience would be an advantage
