Tasks
Are you passionate about passing on your knowledge and expertise to the next generation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to train and supervise apprentices in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Lead and supervise a group of apprentices, providing mentorship and guidance as they progress through their training programs
- Carry out practical training according to the training plans, EASA Part 66, 145, 147 guidelines, and SWISS internal processes
- Coordination of assignments in close collaboration with the maintenance department in 2-shift operation Monday to Friday
- Developing and implementing methods for high-quality practical training in an artificial training environment as well as in productive operation
- Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to apprentices, and identify areas for improvement or additional support
- Defining, conducting and evaluating the final apprenticeship examination

Requirements
We are looking for a committed and experienced individual for the role of apprentice mentor / instructor.
Your profile:
- EASA Part 66 AML Cat. B1 or B1 & B2 with at least one Swiss fleet aircraft type rating
- Strong social competence and passion for education
- Excellent communication skills, able to motivate and inspire young people
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
- Several years’ experience in aircraft maintenance
- Independent and proactive, with strong team orientation
- Very good German and English language skills
