Tasks
We're seeking a Process Engineer for Bonding, Welding & Heat Treatment. You’ll manage end-to-end process development, ensure quality and compliance, drive continuous improvement, and provide technical expertise across engine overhaul operations.
Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:
- Develop, implement, optimize, standardize, and document bonding, welding & heat treatment processes for engine overhaul
- Ensure process stability and quality via sustainable methods (e.g., SPC)
- Coordinate equipment planning, development, procurement
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects for process development & introduction
- Maintain certification and approval documentation for in-house and OEM processes
- Deliver technical trainings and process briefings
- Contribute to special or interdisciplinary projects; create maintenance instructions

Requirements
We’re looking for a Process Engineer in Bonding, Welding & Heat Treatment. The role includes developing and optimizing processes, ensuring quality and compliance, driving continuous improvement, and providing technical support for engine overhaul operations.
- University degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process or Materials Engineering; additional technical training is a plus
- Experience in bonding, welding and heat‑treatment processes
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, jet engine components and overhaul/repair processes
- Proven experience leading technical projects
- Very good English skills (written and spoken)
- Solid IT skills (SAP, MS Office)
- Knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA/FAA, Part 145, OEM requirements)
