Tasks
As Process Engineer for Chemical Cleaning & Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), you develop and optimize cleaning, etching, and FPI processes in engine overhaul operations, ensuring compliant, stable, high-quality performance while supporting cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:
- Develop, implement, optimize, standardize, and document chemical cleaning, etching, and FPI processes for engine overhaul operations
- Establish sustainable methods for process stability and quality assurance, including statistical process control, and integrate them into daily operations
- Plan and coordinate development and procurement of production equipment, providing technical guidance and supporting selection decisions
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects for process development and introduction
- Prepare and maintain certification and approval documentation for in-house and OEM developments
- Design and deliver technical training and create maintenance instructions

Requirements
We’re looking for a Process Engineer for Chemical Cleaning & FPI to develop, implement, and improve chemical cleaning, etching, and FPI processes in engine overhaul operations.
- University degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, or Materials Engineering (additional technical training is an advantage)
- Experience with chemical cleaning, etching, and fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) processes
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, jet engine components, and related repair/overhaul processes
- Proven experience in leading and delivering technical projects
- Very good English skills (written and spoken)
- Solid IT skills, including SAP and MS Office
- Knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., EASA/FAA, Part 145, OEM requirements)
