Tasks
Your tasks as Engine Teardown Manager may include, among others:
- Solely responsible for management of engine teardown events
- Overall fulfillment responsibility for assigned events
- Responsible for smooth operation and correct documentation of engine teardowns
- Coordinate with the business units involved to ensure customer requirements are met
- Economically responsible; Profit/Loss responsibility; Revenue targets must be met in accordance with the contracted services
- Cost controlling and reporting, determine strategies to improve
- Coordinate material requirements and supply-performance with all parties involved
- Support calculation process of events and contract negotiations with suppliers, material planning, product sales, etc.
- Implementation of process improvement measures

Requirements
To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree desirable
- 2-3 years of experience in Aviation, Account Management, Customer Service or Sales & Marketing required
- Technical/engineering experience a plus
- Fluency in English language required
- German language desirable
- Knowledge in Aviation MRO, Engine Parts repair and Technical/Engineering
- Knowledge in SAP and Business Warehouse
- MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint as expert
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent business sense
- Excellent cost consciousness
- Excellent communication skills
- Responsible of budget, costs and revenue
- Willingness to travel
- Shift work / overtime
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
