Tasks

The Finance Specialist activities involves, among others:

  • Support with preparation, audit, submission & publishing of financial statements in accordance with local legal regulations and coordinate with accountants, auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Follow up changes in local regulations & coordinate with the responsible finance colleagues in order to keep country specification up to date
  • Risk management (financial/tax/legal)
  • Perform the annual Internal Control assessment via internal risk assessment tools in a timely manner and identify gaps or errors in the processes
  • Supervise the fulfilment of local business administration tasks (e.g. company registration/registration of company representatives/e-Signatures/GDPR/handling of PoAs)
  • Ensure compliance with local requirements related to Corporate Accounting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong understanding of international tax laws and treaties
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws and financial principles
  • Fiscal knowledge
  • Treasury knowledge
  • Excellent skills of written and spoken English & Spanish language
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking
