Drive Lufthansa Cargo’s digital growth as a Digital Sales Expert! Own the performance and evolution of digital sales products and channels. Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Own the commercial performance of digital sales products, targeting capabilities, and distribution channels, with accountability for revenue contribution, conversion uplift, channel efficiency, and value realization
- Define and steer an integrated targeting and distribution strategy, aligning customer segmentation, recommender logic, contextual offers, and channel prioritization
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of revenue-critical digital products and platform integrations, including budget ownership and investment prioritization
- Drive customer-centric personalization and contextual selling across digital touchpoints and indirect sales platforms
- Steer data-driven experimentation and optimization, including A/B testing and KPI-based performance steering
- Design, develop, and scale commercial data products
- Actively manage and further develop digital distribution ecosystems and platform partnerships
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Data, Tech, UX, Marketing, Pricing, Revenue Management, and Legal
Behind the scenes
Requirements
The ideal Capacity & Revenue Optimizer should meet the following requirements:
- Completed university degree in Economical Sciences
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- 8-10 years of professional experience in Digitalization, Digital Sales channels and/or online platforms, ecommerce, web marketing, B2B distribution websites, Digital Sales intelligence, analytics as well as Airline sales and distribution, Airline business development, Airline Revenue Management and Pricing
- Strong knowledge of digital sales platforms, targeting and personalization mechanisms
- Solid understanding of data-driven customer segmentation, recommender systems and performance measurement
- Advanced use of analytical and reporting tools for performance steering and decisionmaking
- Experience working with digital sales platforms and data-driven systems
- Confident use of standard business software (MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must possess a legal work permit in Italy.
