Tasks
As Head of the Quality department, you will ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen the quality system and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Lead the Lufthansa Portugal Quality Team and develop the employees
- Ensure compliance with ISO, EASA regulations and all quality processes
- Coordinate with Lufthansa Technik departments and external stakeholders on quality-related matters
- Promote awareness of quality, OHS and EHS across the organization
- Participate in regulatory and customer audits, both external and internal
- Oversee occurrence reporting, analyze nonconformances and report outcomes to management
- Ensure training compliance and deliver training when required
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Managing Director

Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated and qualified professional who brings strong technical expertise, regulatory knowledge and the ability to support high standards of quality, safety and operational excellence.
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
- Degree in Engineering or Economics
- Strong regulatory knowledge (EASA, ISO) and solid business understanding
- Experience in Quality; Aviation experience is a plus
- High integrity and strong analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Team-oriented, customer-focused and confident in interactions
- Intercultural competence, flexibility and strong planning skills.
- Strong decision‑making and sense of responsibility.
