Tasks
As an EHS / OHS Management Specialist, you will develop and support EHS/OHS policies and programs, conduct risk assessments, ensure legal compliance, promote training, prevent incidents, and foster a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental protection.
Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and support EHS/OHS policies and programs
- Prepare, perform, and document routine EHS/OHS compliance audits
- Advise and instruct on safety-related topics (e.g. noise levels, machinery use)
- Conduct and document risk assessments and enforce preventive measures
- Review, update, and issue policies in line with legal requirements
- Organize, deliver, and document EHS/OHS training for employees and executives
- Inspect premises and work activities to identify non-conformities
- Oversee installations, maintenance activities, and substance disposal
- Stop unsafe or unhealthy acts and processes
- Record and investigate EHS/OHS incidents
- Prepare reports and statistics for management
- Ensure compliant EHS/OHS documentation (ISO 14001/45001)

Requirements
We are seeking an EHS/OHS Management Specialist with expertise in environmental, health, and occupational safety in aviation, strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and safety management systems, and proven experience ensuring compliance,and supporting safe flight and ground operations.
- Very good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills
- University degree in Health & Safety or related engineering field (mechanical, electrical, aviation)
- 2+ years professional experience in EHS/OHS management systems
- 2+ years experience in auditing (ISO 45001/14001)
- Strong organizational, intercultural, and communication skills
- Analytical and conceptual thinking, able to manage complexity
- Able to present complex topics clearly and structured
- Proactive, creative, and highly engaged
