Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

  • As a Stores Operative, you will handle the receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of aircraft components, including landing gear assemblies, ensuring all processes meet aviation safety and traceability standards.
  • You will manage inventory, operate lifting equipment, support stock checks, and work closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.
  • Duties include training colleagues where qualified, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need?

  • GCSE level education (or equivalent)
  • Experience in aviation maintenance or a regulated warehouse environment is a plus
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working independently and in a team
  • Ability to pass background checks for secure areas
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable with a continuous-improvement mindset
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience desirable (training provided)
  • Basic IT and numeracy skills; ERP or inventory system experience preferred
