Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

  • As a Grinding Operator, you will perform high-precision grinding on aircraft components using cylindrical and surface grinding machines, ensuring all work meets technical specifications and company procedures.
  • As a Grinding Operator, you will perform high-precision grinding on aircraft components using cylindrical and surface grinding machines, ensuring all work meets technical specifications and company procedures.
  • You will work independently, read and interpret technical drawings, maintain a Practical Experience Record (PER), and may support the training of personnel.
  • All duties must comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations, and you will contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop.

Requirements

What you’ll need?

  • GCSE level education (or equivalent)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience with internal/external, cylindrical, and surface grinding machines
  • CNC grinding knowledge preferred
  • Aerospace experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Effective communicator, able to work across teams
  • Performs well under pressure
  • Team-oriented and eager to learn
