As a “Working Student Strategy & Sustainability Program (m/f/d)”, you will be supporting the Strategy & Transformation Team of SunExpress
Tasks
- Support working on the company strategy plan up to 2030
- Take over single projects or initiatives as part of SunExpress’ strategic roadmap
- Carbon market compliance and sustainability reporting as key focus areas
- Assist with emission monitoring, reporting, and documentation under CORSIA, EU-/UK-ETS, and other applicable carbon market mechanisms
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions, monitoring plans, and supporting documentation for verification processes
- Track regulatory and policy developments related to carbon markets and sustainability reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and verifiers to support compliance and reporting timelines
- Prepare analyses, presentations, and summaries for internal stakeholders

Requirements
NIce to have:
- Study in environmental sciences, sustainability, climate policy, economics, engineering, or a related field
- Airline experience
- Familiarity with ETS and/or CORSIA concepts, including emissions monitoring and reporting principles
- Awareness of sustainability and climate reporting frameworks
Expectations:
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work with data in a structured and reliable manner
- Coordination capabilities and high communication skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Team player in an international environment
- Good understanding of aviation industry
- Advanced MS-Office skills
- Advanced level of English in writing and oral (German and Turkish language would be an asset)
