Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Perform aircraft inspections on the Final Assembly Line and other OEM facilities
- Acceptance of aircraft areas on behalf of the APIP Organization, with a primary focus on hands-on inspections and conformity verification during aircraft build and completion phases
- Identify non-conformities and discrepancies during production and track until delivery
- Evaluate the technical impact of non-conformities on aircraft operation, maintenance, airworthiness, and value retention
- Review and assess deviations from drawings and specifications, including proposed dispositions, and corrective actions. Provide technical recommendations to account managers
- Assist in the coaching and support of new APIP inspectors, as well as other improvement tasks, as assigned

Requirements
If you want to be the next Aircraft Production Inspector, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- College degree/vocational training required
- At least 10 years of experience in the desired field, preferably line- and/or base- maintenance
- Cat B1 / B2 preferred, Cat C is a plus
- Fluency in English language required
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, aircraft structure, and cabin required
- Knowledge in aircraft reliability, fleet management, and maintenance organization advantageous
- B1/B2 License desirable
- MS Office and web applications as user
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent safety and security
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Manage high stress levels
- Outdoor weather conditions
- Noise pollution
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
