Tasks

Reporting to the Repair Station Manager, The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and operating a total quality system for MES Dublin and ensuring it complies with regulatory requirements and meets the needs of the business.  

  • Obtaining and maintaining all necessary authority approvals and capablity authorizations
  • Ensure that internal audits are carried out 
  • Establishing and maintaining personnel training program 
  • Independently develop, document and implement all work procedures
  • Guide operations to transfer contractual obligations into a stable production
  • Assuring conformity to airworthiness, environmental, health and safety directives
  • Coordinate quality program with LHT as well as MES network quality management
  • Monitor, audit and optimize repair stations quality procedures and process
  • Manage quality escapes/turn backs
  • Perform all necessary communications with authorities
  • Determine and organise all necessary trainings 
  • Determine and organise human factors training
  • Develop and maintain all repair station processes

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5+) years’ experience in an Aerospace Maintenance Organisation.
  • Strong leadership ability with experience of leading teams and projects.
  • Thoroughness, accuracy, and attention to detail are key.
  • Ability to lead and manage change.
  • Problem solving ability in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work under sustained pressure in a most competitive environment.
  • Ambitious, motivated, energetic, enthusiastic self-starter.
  • Diplomacy and negotiating ability.
  • Ability to identify business issues and barriers.
  • Willingness to travel as per business requirement.
  • Previous experience in Quality Management and auditing.

At LTTS, we specialise in the repair of aircraft engine components for both high pressure and low pressure turbine engines. LTTS is part of the EPAR (Engine Parts & Accessories Repair) network of Lufthansa Technik. The Company was founded in 1992 and we employ over 250 people in our state of the art facility in Shannon. All repairs are carried out in accordance with approvals of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). LTTS is licensed by General Electric, Rolls-Royce and CFMI, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) of aircraft engines, to carry out repairs in accordance with their engine shop manuals, making LTTS unique as one of a small number of companies outside of the engine manufacturers who are licensed to carry out repairs.
