Tasks
In your role, you adapt Lufthansa Group Finance and Business Administration processes for Hungary, ensuring compliance with local regulations and group policies, and deliver services efficiently and with quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Ensuring compliance with local requirements related to Corporate Accounting
- Ensuring the timely filing of tax declarations and payment of taxes; assisting at tax audits and tax litigations
- Managing bank guarantees, local bank administration
- Defining and constantly verifying local invoicing specifics; coordinating local document archiving
- Supporting procurement during the finalization of contracts from tax compliance and finance perspective
- Fulfilling local business administration and compliance tasks (e.g. company registration, GDPR, UBO, KYC, etc.)
- Handle escalations with vendors or business partners in case of late, wrong or double payments
- Supporting in engaging local law firms for handling passenger claims and other legal cases

Requirements
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with at least 3 years’ relevant experience
- Alternatively, A-level/High School Diploma or commercial training with a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken
- Fluent in Hungarian
- Preferably knowledgeable in fiscal law and local tax compliance
- Strong proficiency with MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
- Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Willing to contribute to LHG projects and initiatives
- Diligent, independent, and organized work style
- Results-oriented and goal-driven
- Comfortable managing complex issues
- Strong numerical skills
- Effective at prioritizing tasks
- Professional, customer-focused, and a team player
- Willingness to travel as required
