Tasks
As the Project & Process Manager, you will take on a diverse set of responsibilities, such as:
- Manage projects to improve the existing IT landscape within the Corporate Procurement division
- Develop and implement new processes for the sale and trade of used serviceable material, as well as the entire USM supply chain
- Design and improve single component availability (SCA) related processes
- Conduct workshops for USM processes with customer service, sales, logistics, finance, and IT department
- Participate in larger projects to implement process or organizational changes within the USM division of Lufthansa Technik
- Work closely and act as interface to other process centers and IT departments
- Document existing processes and design standards
- Maintain and improve key performance indicators for the processes within responsibility

Requirements
To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED desirable
- Bachelor’s degree desirable
- While a background in IT is helpful for this position, it is not required
- Fluency in English language required
- Basic knowledge of the aviation aftermarket business desirable
- Knowledge about process optimization techniques (e.g. LEAN) desirable
- MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as expert
- Experience with SAP and Visio
- Basic programming skills
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of mathematical concepts
- Excellent project management
- Excellent change management
- Excellent conceptual thinking/procedure
- Willingness to travel
- Shift work / overtime
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
