As the first point of contact for managers, you’ll proactively advise and guide departments on all HR matters, collaborating closely with other HR teams. Shape business success through expert support and empowered decision-making.

Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Advise towards the strategical orientation of the supervised department and the overall organizational structure and cooperate within all HR topics
- Advise the managers on all labor law relevant topics, with organizational impacts on staff and people topics
- Carry out co-determination processes, arrange cooperation with the co-decision bodies, negotiate regulations, etc. for the supervised area
- Negotiate contractual conditions, in particular of staff admission
- Carry out the initial consulting in recruitment and nsure the staffing and onboarding process
- Advise managers on tactical personnel planning
- Advise managers on the individual career and development planning of their employees
- Involve as a sparring partner in transformation and change discussions; advise and control the implementation process
- Conduct difficult discussions and disciplinary measures, advise the department and, in exceptional cases, the employee in conflict situations
- Collaborate and support in implementing programs and processes of talent management
Behind the scenes
Requirements
The ideal HR Consultant should meet the following requirements:
Education
- Master or equivalent or Bachelor preferably in the field of Human Resources, Legal, Social Sciences or Business Administration
Professional experience
- Master or equivalent in combination with additional 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- or Bachelor and 4-6 years of work experience in HR, ideally with international background
- alternative: Vocational training and 7-9 years of working experience in personnel management or HR
Other
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
- Computer skills (MS Office)
- Strong problem solving competence in complex environment (e.g. group wide processes)
- Think and act as part of the LH Group and different HR communities
- Proven track record in managing change
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and take immediate action on urgent cases
- Willingness to work flexible hours
