Tasks

  • Manage and grow strategic accounts within the life sciences market 
  • Act as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring outstanding service experiences and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and execute business development opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Develop and implement account plans, revenue strategies, and quarterly business reviews
  • Collaborate effectively across a global, multi-national matrix organization
  • Coordinate with internal teams in Sales, Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, and Product to support customer requirements
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, customer logistics needs, and competitive offerings
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and performance reports
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or CEP sector with proven expertise as Account Manager for the Life Sciences industry
  • Strong customer orientation with a proven ability to build long-term partnerships
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
  • Confident working within a global and multi-national matrix organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High level of team spirit and collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English and German, additional languages are a plus
  • Solid understanding of logistics operations and supply chain delivery models is an advantage
