Tasks
Our mission: the right crew on the right aircraft at the right time.
We seek a flexible, resilient team player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills, confident in interpreting duty rules and making data-based decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Continuously monitor all SWISS flights to ensure crew resources are used efficiently and in compliance with legal and contractual requirements
- Assign standby crews and communicate roster changes promptly
- Foster strong cooperation with crew members, line and fleet management, and colleagues
- Oversee crew training and coordinate necessary reassignments within the roster period
- Handle crew inquiries regarding rosters, flight time limitations, and travel documents, ensuring proper updates in crew management systems
- Analyze system performance and provide feedback to responsible stakeholders and system providers
- Contribute to departmental and cross-functional projects as required

Requirements
- Completed vocational training or academic degree with at least three years of professional experience, ideally in airline operations or the aviation industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage complex and unpredictable situations under pressure
- Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
- Confident decision-maker with a proactive, hands-on attitude
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under tight deadlines
- Proficient in using the MS Office suite
- High level of commitment and flexibility, with readiness to work in a 24-hour shift operation (initially between 05:00 and 23:00; later including occasional night shifts)
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written
