As a Recruiter with Lufthansa Technik Canada, you’ll connect brilliant minds to meaningful careers and help us build the teams that keep the world flying! 

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Partner with department leads to define job requirements and candidate profiles
  • Post job openings on internal and external platforms, including career portals and social media
  • Source candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, career fairs, etc.)
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications
  • Define a short-list of preselected/screened candidates
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers and provide feedback
  • Manage candidate communications and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns
  • Assist with onboarding processes and new hire orientation

Requirements

The ideal Recruiter must fulfill the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in aviation, manufacturing, or technical industries required
  • Specific internal recruiting experience within Lufthansa Technik is essential
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Strong understanding of the aviation and aerospace industry, particularly within the Engine (ENG) sector required
  • Computer skills as expert
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
