Tasks
As Working Student Flight Information Services, I support my team to deliver intelligent backend solutions that provide the single source of truth for flight, passenger trip data, and notifications across Lufthansa Group. My mission is to ensure data consistency, reliability, and accessibility.
- I translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for the notification service
- I document change requests for the notification service with precision to ensure smooth implementation by external partners
- I identify and define AI-driven use cases such as predictive messaging or smart content generation for our flight information service, trip information service and notification service
- I collaborate with the data team to explore historical flight and trip data, identify predicitive patterns and create additional value by integrating other APIs to design smarter notifications and insights

Requirements
- I am a student of Engineering Management (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), Business Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Aviation Management or equivalent
- I have an understanding of passenger communication needs to ensure notifications are timely, relevant and empathetic
- I have strong documentation skills for creating precise change request and maintaining clarity for all stakeholders
- I have an understanding of how AI can enhance notification and flight status relevance, personalization, and timing
- I have a basic understanding of APIs and Data Integration to explore how other data sources can add value
- Structured way of working, team skills and strong organizational skills
- Very good command of English language
