Tasks

The Station Engineer line Maintenance is responsible for:

  • To do and certify maintenance work on condition that the authorized person has a Type Rating according to ATA Spec. 104 Level 3
  • The MCT manages the maintenance operation and performs all necessary steps to ensure compliance with EASA standards
  • The MCT supervises all technical and operational aspects at the station and coordinates work routines with internal and external parties, including crews
  • The MCT manages the entire technical handling and coordinates all flights allocated to their shift to ensure safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

  • A-level standard of education as well as several years of work experience
  • EASA PART 66 Type Training Level 3 - Line & Base Maintenance B1.1 or B2- Theoretical and practical element
  • Successfully passed EASA Part 145 Assessment
  • Successfully passed "EASA Part 66 CAT B*2- / EASA Part 145 MCT examination
  • Good knowledge of business management
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German & Japanese language desirable
  • Systematic and structured working methods
  • Suitability for shift work, ability to take physical and mental stress
  • Good linguistic skills
  • High sense of responsibility & social competence
  • Fundamentals in accounting
  • Valid passport & driving license
  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Japan
