Tasks
- Defining and ensuring the training standards for the practical flight training of all student groups, as well as monitoring their timing and content (quality control)
- Training, evaluating and certificating new flight instructors in accordance with the requirements of the flight school, EASA regulations and FAA regulations relevant to the GYR site.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety-related rules and regulations during flight operations and flight training
- Conducting team meetings and regular flight instructor meetings.
- Organizing regulated work processes, ensuring optimal work results and their documentation (TM/OM)

Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with flight instructor rating (FI(A)), Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI). Multi-engine instructor (CRI MEP) authorization desirable
- Several years of experience as a flight instructor and an impeccable flying record
- Good knowledge of aviation-specific laws and regulations; in particular EASA Part FCL, Part ORA and Part ARA, as well as the relevant US laws.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Excellent written and spoken English (other languages are an advantage)
