Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Coordinate passenger service activities for LH and customer airlines, including flight handling, check-in, and irregularities (rebooking, rerouting, accommodations)
  • Ensure work procedures are followed for all phases of aircraft handling, catering, cleaning, and punctuality
  • Supervise handling staff (LH & OAL) and manage VDB/DBC processes
  • Implement checklists and liaise with YPQ during irregular operations
  • Prepare and coordinate staff duty rosters and assignments
  • Oversee customer handling, EU 261 compliance, and service quality
  • Monitor and report check-in efficiency, catering adjustments, and workflow optimization
  • Foster teamwork, resolve passenger issues, and support procedural changes

To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred; college degree/vocational training desirable
  • Minimum 2 years of airline experience in flight handling, passenger services, or operations
  • Fluency in English required; German or other languages desirable
  • Completion of Lufthansa Passenger Service training (ticketing, Lost & Found)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Lufthansa applications
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage change, and handle conflicts
  • Cost-conscious, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
  • Physically fit (lift up to 70 lbs.)
  • Willing to travel, work shifts, and endure outdoor/weather conditions
  • Must have a legal U.S. work permit
