The Lufthansa Group Duty Manager is responsible for:

  • Establish relationships with premium customers and recognize top customers
  • Act as customer care ambassador if assigned by Station Manager
  • Ensure product philosophy and core values are upheld by staff
  • Conduct daily flight briefings and monitor supplier performance
  • Oversee station-related processes, fostering quality awareness and high service standards
  • Coordinate audits and ensure adherence to corrections
  • Supervise catering, baggage, and hotel processes to minimize expenses
  • Apply and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Report operational irregularities and inform the Station Manager
  • Represent LHG towards internal and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with operator’s manuals and local agreements

The ideal Lufthansa Group Duty Manager should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • College degree/vocational training desirable
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in ground operations required
  • Leadership experience required
  • Knowledge of airport procedures and processes required
  • Successful completion of Training in Passenger Service and Aircraft Handling (including but not limited to DCS systems) required
  • Successful completion of Leadership Training required
  • Successful completion of Management System Training (incl. Safety Management System) required
  • PC and Campus supported software including all MS Office programs as user
  • Willingness to travel
  • Manage constant time pressure & high stress levels
  • Outdoor weather conditions
  • Noise pollution
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Singapore
