This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in data analysis and airline operations within a dynamic environment.

You take a front-seat role in advising SWISS’ operations management. You will support running data projects, ad-hoc analyses and have the chance to get a glimpse of how we use and enhance the operational data landscape of a global airline. - Provide valuable data-driven insights supporting decision making
- Create data visualizations, reporting and interactive dashboards
- Create insightful analyses to help quantify key drivers to optimize SWISS’ operational performance
- Contribute to our operational data landscape & support automation
- Foster data democratization and self-service capabilities across the company
- Collaborate and effectively communicate data insights across various stakeholders from SWISS’ Operations departments

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or an “HF” Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in an analytical subject, e.g., data science, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics or related fields
- Knowledge of SQL coding, good command of at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Data science and/or data engineering background is an advantage
- Ability to work independently, yet a team-player with strong communication, and social skills
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills; competences in analysis and management presentations
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and Excel
