The ASSET MANAGER is responsible to manage, maintain, improve, and adapt the company’s pool of aircraft parts & components. This includes the strategic development of a supplier network to secure cost-effective purchases and securing the service levels towards our customers.

Asset Management: 

  • Controlling pool-stock value, ensure the right availability to serve customers, keeping the cost of ownership limited, initiate purchases, and follow-up on goods receipts
  • Investment/Divestment, pool balancing, overstock identification and associated management

Procurement Management:

  • Negotiating best price purchases, development of a secured pricing strategy, consideration of all quality aspects, following the highest security standards
  • Build supply market intelligence, analyse & ensure a supply data base availability 

Supplier/Vendor Management:

  • Strategic development of suppliers, relationship management and negotiation of new and existing contracts
  • Establish and develop strategic partnerships with selected key suppliers and brokering specialists in entire Europe and the US

  • You hold a master or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the procurement/ purchasing environment (link to aviation industry preferred)
  • English business level skills, French or German language skills are beneficial
  • You are good at analysing technical documents and are even better at communicating and negotiating
  • You are enthusiastic, have a can-do-attitude and like to contribute to process optimization
  • You have a valid work permit for Germany
