  • Develop roadmap for PD BMS in collaboration with key partners
  • Drive the realization of the PD BMS Digital Service Layer
  • Develop the Production System for digital solutions and manage the development of automated and data-driven processes
  • Account for the effective resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of projects
  • Ensure balance between business, IT and methodological requirements to optimize quality, speed and cost of digital solutions
  • Monitor competition and market trends and identify best practices
  • Ensure best practices and processes across the digital teams
  • Lead and support the career development and training of the team and beyond
  • Support business functions to ensure implementation and benefit realization of developed solutions

Lufthansa Technik is the world’s leading provider for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). Lufthansa Technik Sofia is part of the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance network. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008.

  • University degree – Economics, IT, Engineering or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in digitalization
  • Knowledge in the fields of digital transformation, technology & business model innovation
  • Relevant managerial experience
  • Track record of successful management
  • Experience in process analysis, design and management
  • Experience in designing digital products and services
  • Basic understanding of the Aircraft MRO business is desirable but not a must
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Team spirit, sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills
  • Distinctive ability to lead and motivate people
  • Excellent negotiation skills, assertiveness and persuasiveness
  • Excellent conflict management competence
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
