Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

  • As Chief Operating Officer, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across LTLGS, working closely with the CEO and CFO to translate business strategy into outstanding operational performance.
  • Leading Operations and Engineering, you will drive safety, quality, airworthiness, on-time delivery, productivity and cost performance while embedding Lean and continuous improvement.
  • This is a highly visible senior leadership role, responsible for building high-performing teams, optimising capacity and resources, strengthening operational excellence and supporting sustainable business growth in a highly regulated aviation MRO environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need?

  • Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related discipline.
  • Significant senior management/director-level experience in Aerospace, Aviation MRO, aircraft component maintenance, engineering or highly regulated manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership of Operations and Engineering in a complex, safety-critical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft/component maintenance and preferably EASA Part-145.
  • Proven Lean, continuous improvement and operational transformation experience.
  • Strong production planning, capacity, resource and KPI management experience.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering financial and operational targets.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality, HSE and regulatory requirements.
  • Visible, accountable and collaborative leadership style with strong commercial judgement.
